We here at my house are in for the fight of our lives. You see we were approved 2 months ago for kinship care from the Department of Social Services here in my state. We were approved on a wednesday to pick up our new baby girl on friday. We were called an hour and a half before we were supposed to pick her up saying that a law was recently changed and we were unable to go get her. We have been fighting this since then. We have gotten a lawyer and now we are waiting for a court date. These are some pictures of us and her.

I live in a house thats way to small, I have 2 dogs that nobody else helps with very much, and I hate my job! No matter what I do I just feel stuck. I try and try to just get by and nothings working. I do not know what to do!

My wife is sick of the dogs stinking up our house but I am the only one who gives them baths. She is frustrated being the only one cleaning the dog kennel but I am the only one who takes the time to sit with them, clean up the house after them and play with them. I know this is all kinda petty but after I go to work and deal with people who don’t do anything more than they have to it’s really frustrating. I need to mention that I work at a group home with mentally challanged individualls, they do more than some of my co-workers. I help them with every aspect of their lives. I spend 40 hours a week taking care of others and everyone I live with and myself goes to the wayside. The town I live in has absolutely nothing to do for anyone. Not even the kids. All we can do is go to the bar, movies or to the one resturant in town. I probably just need a vacation which I have not taken one since I got married 4 years ago. Oh yea thats the only one I’ve had in 8 years! Me and my wife make a decent amount of money but can never afford to do anything more than get up and go to work and then come home and watch t.v. for a while than go to bed. There has got to be more to life than this.

This week we had to drive awhile to take my mother in law to see the doc. It is always a nice drive just a long one. I love the scenery

We have been here a week and I have’nt been able to work all week so this is the time that I will actually be broke. Thats ok cuz I know she is getting good health care treatment. I am happy for that and will never complain. I will be home late tonight so I will post again this weekend and let you know how it goes.

We just got paid our bonuses from work and we got our bills paid and caught up. This is such a great feeling, espesially when the cell bill was $700. Although we try not to get behind it happens. It relly sucks but it does happen. All our bills are paid now so thwe next couple of paychecks are ours to do what we want with. This means many hours of shopping for my wife and kids. Getting things we need and things we don’t. But it means we get new things. This is the nice part. Getting things because we need them or want them. Spending our money on what we want to spend it on versus what we have to.

Everyone sees something that they want everyday. Whether it’s a new house or car or even a cd. We all want what others have and we have not. I watch tv and see things all the time. I want to have the nice house the fancy car but above all I want to be as fit and healthy as the people on tv. It’s not that just being healthy isn’t good enough but I want to not only feel healthy but I want to look it too. I want to wake up and know that my muscles are not just for show. I want to be able to use them as I so choose without the worry about them giving out because they just don’t work that way.

I feel that if you are healthy and fit the rest of your life is gonna follow and everything just gets fullfiled. Your dreams and desires come to you easier because there is no limitations due to your health. There are many areas of a persons life that become easier when you feel good and feeling good means you look good and the moods are better. You become happier the healthier and fitter you are.

After all, who wants to talk to a person who is crabby and don’t look appealing to any needs you have. When you feel good you look good and when you look good life is good. Good enough to maybe bring the money or power that you might be looking for.

These days we all are feeling the pinch of the economy. It can take a toll on our moods which in turn affects how we deal with others. If we can keep our outlook positive we might be able to survive it without losing our entire lives.

The bills start to add up and then the collectors start calling. It really gets to be difficult. If only there was a way to let the President know that the easiest way to fix healthcare problems and make it affordable for everyone would be to lower the costs. Put a cap on the amount they can charge for it. Put a cap on the cost of insurance as well, they profit billions every year on our hardships. How is that legal? They are in the position to abuse the need for staying healthy. I help take care of people in my day job and I in no way make billions much less thousands of dollars doing my job. I am a nurse, laundry personel and a cook. I do the job of three different positions and don’t make anywhere near the pay of all of those positions.

I think it’s rediculous that a picture of my insides should cost anywhere near what it does, and then the cost to have the doctor read it and tell me what he sees. Now I’m not saying that their job is not important but I don’t feel paying as much as we have to is justifiable. How can we make it clear that there is more to the problem than just insurance costs? Let me know so we as a people can change things.

I am sorry for the long delay in my posts but, I have had so much going on in the family for the last couple of weeks. A few health issues and other things I really don’t want to get in to. But, like the title says, there is no time for good byes. My dog had puppies about 2 months ago and I have been enjoying their company since, but it’s time for me to say good bye to them. I will be bringing them to the pet store tomarrow and selling them to them for a lot less than I had hoped to get for them. I guess where I live people love certain kinds of dogs only if they are someone elses. Thats ok. I love rottweilers and that all that counts. I will try to post some more of their photos in the near future. Anyway thats all for now and have a great weekend!

Sorry I haven’t posted anything for awhile, I have been busy trying to become a foster parent so we can adopt. It’s a busy process and my time has ben tied up either at work or at home trying to accomplish this. We are now only waiting for background checks and we should be done and have a baby.

Even on a day off from my j.o.b. I have to do some kind of work. Today and am doing some painting in my basement. No matter how much I get done there will always be more to do. Whether it’s working at my j.o.b.(just over broke) or working on my website, or finding something else to do around the house the work never ends.

Just to let you know my puppies are a week old and they are already twice the size they were a week ago! They are growing soooo fast. Check out the pics from the last post and I will be adding more as time goes on.

I went to my doctor appointment today. It was a good one this time. I have thought about accupuncture before and was unsure about whether it worked or not. You could say I was skeptical.

I have been dealing with a bad pain in my neck, literally. When I went to the doctor today we had discussed the accupuncture. Let me tell you it worked instantly! The pain disappeared instantly. I am no longer a skeptic of this type of practice.
